Friday, April 17, 2009 - Veterans Administration Awarded $13 Million Contract to DOMA
The Department of Veterans Affairs has selected DOMA Technologies; in conjunction with DOMA VECTOR to provide Document Conversion Services to more than 230 Veteran Centers in the United States, Virgin Islands and the Pacific. DOMA will convert millions of veteran treatment records from paper to electronic format allowing the VA to provide greater quality of service to our veterans while reducing cost.
DOMA will be using their state-of-the-art iChart and iVault technology, a secure web-based Electronic Health Record System to digitize the VA records. The system will create a “single digital chart” from the veteran’s paper records and make it available anytime in a central secure repository. This will allow counselors and care providers’ immediate access to all of the VA facilities records and provide “One VA” electronic file for each veteran as the VA moves to a paperless environment.
“The basis of this award decision was due to DOMA’s highly rated technical ability and their high level of security and privacy processes.”- Veterans Administration
DOMA will be hiring individuals to handle the document preparation, scanning, indexing, quality control and logistical support as well as management personnel and expanding our conversion facilities here in Virginia Beach.
