Fax-In
For office environments that are short on space, time and money but still need all the benefits of digital document management, our Fax-In solution provides a unique tool for turning paper records into accessible, secure, digital documents. Fax-In eliminates the need for dedicated hardware (scanner), human resources (scan technician), or additional space (scanning station).
Traditionally data has been scanned either by the customer or by outsourcing the conversion to our scanning team. With Fax-In, customers to fax directly into their DOMA solution and indexing can be accomplished in one of three ways:
- A customer can log on to their site and access the folder the documents were routed to, open the documents and complete the index based on the content of the document.
- For a completely outsourced service, DOMA can provide this indexing service.
- In the near future, DOMA will provide fully-automated indexing based on bar codes applied to the document before faxing.
Once the document has been ingested and indexed, it is stored securely, easy to retrieve and available to any authorized user.
