Organizations Empowering Indigenous Professionals

November 30, 2022

As Native American Month comes to a close, we would like to look at some organizations you can continue to support all year to help Indigenous Professionals prosper in the tech space. It is more important than ever that we have a varied workforce in technology. Indigenous people in the United States are the most underrepresented group in the technology industry; however, they represent diverse cultures that can lend valuable insight into the future of technology and the world. Here are just a few organizations you can support that are looking to expand the influence of Indigenous people in technology:

Setting the Stage for the Future

This article is by no means comprehensive in showcasing organizations that empower the Indigenous community, but we hope it will spark an interest in learning more about the organizations that work hard every day to encourage diversity in the workplace. Encouraging minorities and women to pursue STEM careers or build their own businesses infuses those industries with a fresh perspective. Diversity within the tech space is growing, and we at DOMA believe that meaningful change begins from within. It is our goal to build an inclusive, collaborative environment that values everyone’s unique contributions and we are committed to helping people find their place in the technology sector.
