Effective December 30th, DOMA Technologies has been listed in the CSA STAR Registry. The STAR registry allows cloud providers to validate their offerings against others in the industry. Indeed, DOMA is in good company as the STAR registry includes over 400 proven companies including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft, and Google. This publicly available registry lists the security and privacy controls for each participant. As a result, cloud customers can validate that the cloud provider they choose meets their security assurance needs.

The Security Trust Assurance and Risk (STAR) program sets the standard for cloud security protocols. Through transparent practices, rigorous auditing, and clearly defined standards the STAR registry allows cloud customers to asses and compare different cloud providers.
The STAR registry is divided into three levels. Star Level One is the first step and is designed for companies that want a cost-effective way of improving customer transparency and trust. As organizations mature or take on higher levels of responsibility/risk they may choose to pursue higher levels within the registry.
Star Level Two is designed for those already holding an ISO27001, SOC2, or GB/T 22080-2008 compliance/certification. Level Three is designed for those operating in a high-risk environment who want a high level of transparency. As an organization continues to pursue higher STAR levels they are subjected to a higher level of scrutiny including third-party assessments and audits.
